Driver Helper Training at Gordon Food Service

Become a pivotal part of our team as a Driver Helper in Kamloops, BC with Gordon Food Service. This role includes training for a Class 1 license while ensuring timely deliveries and strong customer relations.

As a Driver Helper, you will assist in providing efficient deliveries of GFS products. This interim position aims for long-term success while building your skills for obtaining a Class 1 license through the GFS MELT Program. You will ensure accurate check-ins, foster customer relationships, and collaborate with drivers and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist driver with deliveries of GFS products

• Build courteous customer relationships daily

• Complete check-ins accurately and on time

• Communicate customer concerns to management

• Provide paperwork assistance to Sales Service Representative

Requirements:

• Must obtain Class 1 learners within 3 months

• Ability to lift up to 90lbs repeatedly

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities

• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance monitoring
