Canada Post On-Call Mail Carrier

This role offers you the chance to operate independently and navigate various communities while delivering mail.

We are looking for reliable individuals who enjoy working autonomously and can operate a vehicle in diverse weather conditions. As part of Canada Post's respected team, you will handle mail sorting, collection, and delivery while ensuring safety and security during transit. This temporary position allows for flexibility and the possibility of transitioning to permanent roles in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, collect, and deliver mail items promptly

• Know local roads, delivery receptacles, and customers well

• Ensure mail is securely stored throughout delivery

• Process Change of Address Notifications and other tasks

• Maintain visibility of Canada Post identification while working

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 or G driver’s license

• Satisfactory safe driving record

• Reliable vehicle with minimum cargo capacity of 100 cu ft

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb

• Current driver’s abstract dated within 30 days
