Join CPKC's Revelstoke team as a Conductor and be at the heart of railway operations. This part-time role emphasizes safety and strong teamwork in a dynamic environment.
Starting in October 2026, CPKC is looking for conductors who will work closely with train crews. You will be responsible for assisting with switching operations and ensuring trains run safely. Candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks and flexible shift work in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute train or yard service as directed
• Implement detailed train route and specific movements
• Conduct car switching and coupling processes
• Communicate effectively using hand signals and radio
• Familiarize with General Code of Operating Rules
Requirements:
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Required high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license essential
• Ability to pass physical job assessments
• Excellent focus and multitasking skills
