As an Assistant Trainmaster, you are crucial to the successful execution of operational plans. You will lead a team in ensuring compliance with safety protocols and coordinate all train activities. Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate train operations and movements
• Supervise compliance with Local Service Operating Plans
• Provide leadership accountability for safety and productivity
• Lead observations and safety discussions with staff
• Facilitate crew transport to trains
Requirements:
• High school diploma/general equivalency diploma
• Previous railway experience as conductor or engineer preferred
• Valid driver’s license is needed
• Flexible with shifts including nights and weekends
• Proficient in MS Office applications
