Coordinate OTR tire shipments for Kal Tire in Kamloops, using freight coordination and inventory control skills in a hands-on yard.
Kal Tire’s Mining Tire Group needs an experienced OTR Shipper and Receiver to support Western Canada product movement. This hands-on logistics position manages shipping activities, trailer operations, and inventory records. The work supports mining operations, transportation partners, and internal stakeholders through accurate, safe, timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Load, unload, inspect, and receive OTR tires and related products
Prepare shipments through palletizing, labeling, documentation, and verification
Maintain packing slips, waybills, bills of lading, and trip sheets
Count inventory and communicate discrepancies to management
Coordinate carriers, Kal Transport, and third-party freight providers
Requirements:
Minimum two years shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or yard experience
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Experience with inventory control and freight coordination
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Bring independent yard management, shipping documentation, and inventory accuracy to Kal Tire’s OTR operations in Kamloops.
