Operate heavy equipment on frozen roads as a Seasonal Operator with Dawson Road Maintenance in British Columbia. Hold a Class 1 or 3 licence.
This temporary, full-time position reports to the Road Foreperson and supports roadway safety across assigned service areas. You will clear snow and ice, meet production objectives, and work within specified tolerances. Locations include 100 Mile House, Ashcroft, Gold Bridge, Clinton, and Lillooet.
Key Responsibilities:- Clear snow and ice from public roadways
- Operate heavy equipment safely in all weather
- Follow daily production schedules and supervisor direction
- Complete work reports, maintenance logs, and activity updates
- Perform road maintenance, chain-up, cleaning, and greasing
- Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's licence
- Minimum two years road maintenance or construction experience
- Commercial driving experience considered an asset
- Snow removal and heavy equipment experience considered assets
- Ability to use tablets and complete vehicle inspections
Support safe British Columbia travel through snow removal, equipment operation, reporting, and careful seasonal road maintenance work.
