BWXT Production Manager

Position: BWXT Production Manager Role
Manage manufacturing processes with BWXT Medical in Kanata, Ontario. This on-site role involves overseeing production, quality compliance, and cost efficiencies while leading a dedicated team.

As a Production Manager, you will direct operations within the Medical Isotope Division. You'll be instrumental in forecasting, planning, and executing processes that ensure product quality and adherence to regulatory standards. Collaborating with suppliers, liaising with other departments, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives are key aspects of your managerial duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct safe operation of production cost centers

• Interface with suppliers for timely delivery

• Liaise with departments to coordinate activities

• Lead quality improvement and cost-control programs

• Develop and direct training for operational staff

Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant field

• 5+ years of manufacturing supervision experience

• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices

• Proven leadership abilities and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations
