Position: Hybrid Software Engineer ON
Agile Electromagnetics is hiring a Software Engineer in Kanata, ON, to develop advanced counter-drone systems. This hybrid role emphasizes collaborative software development and IT security.

In this full-time position, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team of engineers on the development of embedded and application software for cutting-edge systems. Participating in critical stages of product development, from concept to implementation, your proactivity is key. Proficiency in Rust, Python, C, and C++ is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop software tools and libraries for embedded systems

• Conduct meaningful code reviews to enhance quality

• Document development processes and software designs

• Engage in all product development phases effectively

• Manage internal IT operations and assist users

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering

• Proven experience in software or embedded systems

• Familiarity with AMD/Xilinx SoC development is advantageous

• Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities

• Experience with both Linux and Windows environments
