Network Security Engineer

Join MANTECH as a Network Security Engineer in Marine Corps Base Kaneohe, Hawaii.

The role supports Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) in preparing and maintaining network information assurance, IT infrastructure, and audio‑visual capabilities across multiple classified networks to support the ICD 705 Facility.

• Design, monitor, and develop network systems, applying Information Assurance (IA) policies and best practices across DoD and Marine Corps.
• Coordinate with Marine Corps, Navy, Joint, and other services for network approvals, connections, and installation support for Initial Operating Capability (IOC) and Final Operating Capability (FOC).
• Communicate and provide effective staff coordination across government, Marine Corps, and contractor organizations.
• Support the Site Security Manager (SSM)/Special Security Representative (SSR) and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee secure installations and operations across multiple security domains.
• Establish and satisfy complex system‑wide information security requirements based on user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands, and support doctrine and policy development.

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years’ experience operating and protecting IT infrastructure within an ICD 705 facility.
• Experience with network security aspects of installations and operations.

• Experience with MS Word and MS Power Point.

• Must hold an active/current Top‑Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.

• Maintain construction security oversight in an outdoor environment; walk (with personal protective equipment) to inspect and document delivery of components and construction of structure.
