Position Title: Diversified Agriculture Field Technician - Moli'i Orchard

Location: On-site - Kāne'ohe, Hawai'i

Schedule: Full-time;
Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 4:30pm. Flexibility required for peak harvest periods and seasonal demands.

The Diversified Agriculture Field Technician - Moli'i Orchard supports the establishment, maintenance, and productivity of Kualoa's orchard systems. This hands-on position plays a key role in growing high-quality tropical fruits such as cacao, mixed citrus, avocado, mango, and other crops within a mixed-orchard system. The Technician will әй the daily agricultural operations including orchard management, irrigation, harvesting, and site maintenance. A commitment to sustainable farming practices and strong,e teamwork are essential for success in this role.

• Orchard Management:
  Assist with planting, pruning, fertilization, pest control, and overall tree health to maximize fruit yield.
• Irrigation & Infrastructure:
  Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper water flow and distribution.
• Harvesting & Processing:
  Harvest crops and assist with washing, sorting, and packaging fruit for distribution.
• Land & Site Maintenance:
  Maintain orchard grounds including mowing, weeding, and soil conservation tasks.
• Equipment Operation:
  Safely operate and maintain small agricultural equipment including tractors, mowers, weed whackers, and hand tools.
• Recordkeeping & Compliance:
  Track crop growth, log food safety data, and ensure compliance with agricultural regulations.
• Teamwork:
  Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and productive operations.
• Other Duties:
  Support site improvements, special projects, and other farm-related tasks as needed.

• Previous experience in farming Jungle, agriculture, or horticulture.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation, planting, fertilization, and pest management.
• Ability to operate and maintain farm tools and small equipment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Effective communication skills and openness to feedback.

• Experience with orchard or tropical fruit tree management.
• Familiarity with sustainable agriculture methods.
• Experience operating tractors and other farm machinery.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry (training provided).

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, humid, rainy, and muddypromptconditions.
• Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, and working on uneven terrain.
• Exposure to fertilizers, pest control products, and other agricultural inputs.
• Regular use of manual labor including planting, pruning, and harvesting tasks.
