North Star seeks dynamic Independent Sales Representatives to drive pre-need sales at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park in Kaneohe, HI (Honolulu County). If you have a proven sales track record and a desire to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships in the community to educate and guide families in their pre-planning decisions
• Set appointments and deliver preplanning guide presentations
• Utilize our proprietary software, Navigator, to complete contracts timely, neatly, and accurately
• Track all sales activity and ratios to measure areas of strength and improvement
• Use Velocify to track all contacts and ensure professional follow-up
• Prospect regularly using multiple methods, including cold calling, door knocking, mailers, seminars, and outside events
• Provide world-class customer service with a positive attitude and a willingness to do “Whatever it takes”
• Stay current in areas related to our profession (veteran’s benefits, social security benefits, end-of-life decisions, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Sales Experience: Over 2 years of direct or in-home sales experience
• Public Speaking: More than 2 years of experience in public speaking and delivering presentations

• Discipline, high energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong people skills and high emotional intelligence
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Strong ability to earn trust and use consultative selling techniques.
• Ability to effectively present to groups of people
• Ability to build and maintain relationships within the community.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Experience handling difficult situations with confidence and compassion
• Reliable transportation, a valid state driver’s license, and a satisfactory driving record

Projected First Year Annual Income: $75,000.00 - $
