Position Overview
• Full-time, permanent opening
• Located in Kankakee, IL - less than 1 hour from Chicago
• Join an established medical group with 4 surgeons (Hand, General, and Joint)
• Physician Assistants already in place, with potential for additional hires as needed
• Call shared with another group for a very manageable schedule
• Recruitment need driven by patient demand and goal of improving local access to orthopedic care
• Orthopedic Service Line follows a dyad leadership model
• Operating Room with ample capacity and future opportunities at a nearby ambulatory surgery center
• Strong infrastructure support including Radiology, Anesthesiology, specialized Ortho/Neuro units, acute inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, Home Care, and long-term care
