Design Engineer - Mechanical

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop tooling and agricultural equipment using advanced 3D modeling software. This role focuses on creating durable, manufacturable sheet metal and mechanical designs that perform reliably in demanding field environments. You will work closely with manufacturing, tooling, and cross‑functional teams to bring designs from concept through production.

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for tooling and farming equipment using 3D CAD software
• Develop sheet metal designs optimized for fabrication, assembly, and long‑term durability
• Create detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles
• Collaborate with manufacturing and tooling teams to support prototypes and production launches
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product performance and cost reduction

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
• Experience with 3D modeling and product design software (Solid Works, Inventor, Creo, or similar)
• Proven experience designing mechanical products, preferably for tooling, machinery, or agricultural equipment
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes
• Ability to interpret and create detailed technical drawings
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

• Experience designing equipment for harsh or outdoor environments
• Familiarity with CNC fabrication, welding, or forming processes
• Exposure to prototype builds and shop‑floor support

• Work on real‑world equipment used in agricultural and industrial environments
• Hands‑on engineering role with direct manufacturing impact
