Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to ensure the proper functioning of our manufacturing equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, contributing to our operational efficiency and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and correct unsafe conditions, complete safety assessments prior to work, and support our "Zero Harm" policy.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, adjust, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
• Diagnose operational issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Replace pumps, motors, conveyors, and other components as needed.
• Collaborate with other mechanics and electricians to resolve equipment issues.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and overhead cranes when required.
• Fabricate and weld tools or equipment as needed.
• Use precision machine tools for making or repairing parts.
• Work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, with 24-hour call-out availability.
• Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and SOPs.

Skills &

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintaining a safe work environment, with knowledge of LOTO procedures and safe practices.
• Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance or certification as a Millwright or Industrial Mechanic.
• At least five years of maintenance experience in a plant setting.
• Preferred skills include millwright expertise, welding, and machining.
• Proficiency with hand tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble complex mechanical devices.
• Capability to fabricate simple parts for maintenance purposes.
• Ability to read and understand detailed manuals and work with maintenance software.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds safely and access equipment in various positions.
• Excellent manual dexterity.
