Riverside Healthcare seeks a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while demonstrating strong clinical and interpersonal skills, multitasking ability, and a commitment to patient‑centered excellence.

• Patient Assessment and Care Planning
  :
  Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and psychological needs; develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Treatment Administration
  :
  Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered; monitor patient responses and update care plans accordingly.
• Patient Monitoring
  :
  Continuously monitor vital signs, physical condition, and response to interventions; document observations accurately.
• Coordination of Care
  :
  Collaborate with physicians and other professionals to coordinate treatment plans; participate in interdisciplinary meetings and discharge planning.
• Patient Education
  :
  Tailor education to cultural and developmental considerations; provide support and resources for post‑discharge care.
• Documentation
  :
  Maintain accurate assessments, interventions, and outcomes; ensure compliance with all regulatory and hospital standards.
• Patient Experience
  :
  Engage patients/families empathetically; create a supportive environment fostering trust and comfort.

• Non‑essential Duties
  :
  Participate in professional development, assist in orientation of new staff, and support quality improvement initiatives.

• Graduate of an approved nursing school.
• Current RN license in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Technical certifications: TNCC or TNS within 18 months; ENPC within 24 months; ECRN within 24 months.
• Additional certifications within first year:
  Mental Health First Aid or Crisis Prevention Institute Certified (CPI); PALS; ACLS.
• BSN requirement for new graduates as of 1/1/25: must earn BSN within 3 years of hire.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
• Professional nursing certification in a specialty preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.

USD $34.18 - $44.45 per hour
