Med/Surg Unit - Specializing in Orthopedics - Full Time Nights.

Join our dedicated Medical/Surgical team, where you’ll care for patients recovering from knee replacements, hip fractures, and other orthopedic conditions. You'll also assist with the overflow from our telemetry unit, offering valuable experience across multiple specialties. We’re looking for a compassionate, team‑oriented RN who is excited to grow with a dynamic and evolving organization.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients.

He/She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• Ventilator Management experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58.

The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, based on skillset, years of experience, education, credentials and licensure.
