Packer Operator - PM

Prime Beverage Group is a beverage co-packing company that contracts with brand-name beverage companies to mix and package their canned drinks. We not only manufacture top-quality products we also provide our customers with complete supply chain solutions. We have a state-of-the-art production facility in Kannapolis, NC and we are looking for a full-time Packer Operator to join our team. Shift:

• PM shift – 6:30pm-6am

What to expect as a Packer Operator:

• Ensure the safety of your equipment, processes, and actions.
• Ensure the proper set-up of your equipment and processes.
• Ensure the proper operation of your equipment and processes to drive reliability.
• Ensures all materials are correct based on the production schedule for all products being packaged.
• Monitors and inspects the flow of cases out of the case packers to identify and detect defective packaging.
• Ensure equipment and plant hygiene.
• Maintain all records accurately and completely.
• Ensure all data is complete, accurate and entered into the ERP system.
• Accountable for Safety, Quality, and Service for your area of responsibility.
• Accountable for yield and efficiency goals for your area of responsibility.
• Be the technical expert for your area of responsibility.
• Possess thorough understanding of our products and procedures.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Participate in audits and investigations as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

What you need to be successful:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one (1) year experience with production equipment and processes.
• Must be able to work long periods on your feet and perform repetitive actions such as bending and stooping.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
