The Merchandiser’s main job function is to assist with sales and create brand awareness. A sales merchandiser should have knowledge of our products as they relate to the deli.

• Full‑time hourly position – $16.00–$18.00 based on experience
• Weekly payroll via direct deposit
• Ability to earn 5+ hours per week of overtime

• Safely operate a deli slicer
• Set up deli cases and appropriately rotate deli product
• Understand and execute schematics/planograms
• Maintain marketing displays using Dietz & Watson POS
• Work independently and as part of a team with little or no supervision
• Manage time effectively and productively
• Complete all reports and store surveys as required
• Provide coverage to all stores in the assigned territory based on store ranking
• Make regular store visits documenting concerns/problems and address them timely
• Build and maintain customer relationships with deli managers, employees, and customers
• Create and market Dietz & Watson programs
• Train new store deli hires and refresh training when needed
• Communicate necessary information to the Merchandiser Manager
• Utilize monthly sales reports to achieve 100% distribution
• Explore opportunities for sales growth with the Merchandiser Manager
• Maintain full displays and a clean, sanitary work environment
• Perform special projects outside of assigned territory

• Flexibility and ability to travel (including flying) as needed, up to 30% of the time
• Read and write English
• Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills
• Independent decision‑making skills
• Available to work weekends on occasion
• High school diploma or equivalency
• 1–2 years of customer service/sales experience preferred; previous deli experience is a plus
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Valid Real  passport for travel
• Pass the company‑issued Serv Safe Manager exam

• Lift up to 20 pounds frequently; 50 pounds occasionally; push/pull carts up to 100 lbs
