Base pay: $13.50/hr.

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role includes acquiring knowledge of represented products, preparing, serving, and breaking down product equipment and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products professionally, and maintaining a professional appearance.

• Possess aptitude and ability to gain knowledge of represented products.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, knives).
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
• Properly set up and prepare event tables for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports as per company policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view documents including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms.

Education/

Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination.

Computer

Skills:

Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food Handlers permit may be required.

Physical Demands: The associate regularly required to stand and walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.

Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and proper grooming, as specified in retailer dress code.
