Role Purpose
The PRT English Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality English language instruction to students of Grades 3–5, ensuring strong foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The role requires a mature, experienced educator with deep subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and primary pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities
Academic Delivery
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate English lessons aligned with the  CBSE curriculum  for Grades 3–5.
Develop students’  reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, creative writing, and spoken English  skills.
Use effective teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs and learning styles.
Integrate storytelling, literature, phonics, grammar, and language activities to build language fluency.
Assessment & Evaluation
Design and conduct formative and summative assessments as per CBSE guidelines.
Maintain accurate academic records, student portfolios, and progress reports.
Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents to support continuous improvement.
Classroom Management & Student Development
Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage confidence, expression, creativity, and critical thinking in students.
Support students’ overall language development and communication skills.
Curriculum & School Engagement
Participate in lesson planning, curriculum reviews, and academic meetings.
Collaborate with peers, coordinators, and school leadership to ensure academic consistency.
Actively engage in school events, professional development sessions, and academic initiatives.
Parent Communication
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, learning needs, and development.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school-led academic interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in English  (mandatory) from a  reputed university/college .
B.Ed. /

D.El.Ed.  preferred (as per CBSE norms).
Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience  teaching  English in Grades 3–5  in a CBSE school.
Strong command over  spoken, written, and verbal English .
Sound knowledge of  CBSE curriculum, assessment patterns, and age-appropriate pedagogy .
