Job Summary
Design Engineer with 2–4 years of relevant experience in Aluminium Formwork Design , preferably from Aluminium Formwork or similar industry. The role involves preparation and detailing of aluminium formwork layouts, area calculations, drawing interpretation, 2D/3D modelling, and coordination with engineering and Sales teams to ensure accurate and timely design deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Aluminium Formwork layouts, drawings, and detailing as per project requirements.
Perform accurate area calculations, quantity take-offs, and BOQ preparation for both Aluminium & MS accessories required in system .
Read, interpret, and work from architectural, civil, MEP and structural drawings .
Develop and modify 2D/3D models and detailed drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D and Revit .
Ensure design accuracy, constructability, standardization, and optimization of formwork systems.
Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Project, and Site teams along with internal Sales team for design inputs and technical clarifications.
Incorporate design revisions and ensure timely submission of drawings and deliverables .
Support site teams in resolving drawing/design-related issues during execution.
Maintain proper design documentation, drawing revisions, and engineering records .
Qualification & Experience
Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant Qualification
Experience:
2–4 years of relevant experience in Aluminium Formwork Design , preferably working in Formwork Industry.
Strong knowledge of area calculations, quantity take-offs, BOQ, and formwork & MS detailing .
Required Skills
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D and Revit for working on engineering drawings and 3D models.
Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, MEP and structural drawings .
Experience in drawing preparation, detailing, revisions, working on set design standards and coordination with engineering and site teams.
Good understanding of construction practices, formwork systems, Load Calculation and applicable design standards & Codes .
