The Traffic Coordinator/Greeter is responsible for efficiently directing vehicular traffic in designated areas, issuing valet parking tickets, upholding parking policies, retrieving guest vehicles, and assisting guests with luggage, while delivering exceptional hospitality services.

Job Details

Compensation: $15 - $17 per hour.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, options of 6:45 am–3:00 pm, 8:30 am–4:45 pm, or 10:00 am–6:00 pm.

Benefits: Accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and telemedicine insurance; 401(k) retirement savings plan (eligible employees). Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible.

Essential Functions
  • Direct vehicular traffic and provide attentive, friendly service to all patients/guests (25%).
  • Maintain professional demeanor, use proper etiquette, and greet guests promptly (25%).
  • Assist guests with directions, inquiries, and confidentiality; collect parking data when applicable (25%).
  • Obtain daily event and rate information, maintain claim checks, and perform parking operations swiftly and safely (25%).
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.: Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Work Experience: One to three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge: Traffic and valet procedures.
  • Skills:
    • Read/write standard English; comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
    • Effectively present information in one-on-one or small group settings.
    • Basic arithmetic operations and ability to work with money, weight, volume, and distance.
    • Understand 24‑hour and military time; understand rates applicable to time passed.
    • Customer service experience preferred.
    • Register/computer experience preferred.
    • Drive manual transmission and perform parallel parking.
