Job Description Summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Kansas Hospital and Cancer Center is recruiting a full‑time Gynecologic Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Our division is comprised of four gynecologic oncologists with additional outpatient and inpatient advanced practice providers, and an accredited gynecologic oncology fellowship (one/year - 3‑year fellowship). We have grown an expansive clinical trials program, actively recruiting to investigator‑initiated, NRG, and NCI‑based clinical trials ranging from early to late phase, being one of a few institutions with gynecologic oncology physician‑led early phase trials.

We have congenial working relationships with radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, genetic counselors, division specialist pharmacists, palliative care physicians, and surgical oncologists. The selected physician will join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology which includes over thirty faculty, twenty‑one residents and seven fellows to provide evidence‑based quality care.

The University of Kansas Cancer Center is an NCI‑Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. The Gynecologic Oncology Division has a long track record of excellence in patient care and promotes an environment for professional mentorship. The practice is active both clinically and academically, with a very busy surgical schedule, sizeable clinical trials portfolio and cutting‑edge translational research opportunities. Educational conferences include tumor boards, grand rounds, morbidity and mortality conferences, journal clubs, and weekly didactic opportunities.

The position provides a competitive benefits package. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience and qualifications. We seek individuals who will actively contribute to our core values of clinical and academic excellence, innovation, and developing a welcoming community for all. All providers who share those commitments are encouraged to apply.
