Psychiatrist (Licensed – State of Kansas)

Wyandot Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to provide high-quality psychiatric care to a diverse client population. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through comprehensive assessment, treatment, and collaboration within an interdisciplinary team.

The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric assessments, medication management, treatment, and consultation services for clients. As a licensed physician, the Psychiatrist holds medical responsibility for assigned Wyandot Center clients.

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and ongoing treatment.
• Provide clinical direction and oversight to ARNPs and nursing staff.
• Participate in interdisciplinary assessment and treatment planning with clinical teams.
• Perform utilization reviews, including review of treatment plans.
• Assist with education and clinical supervision of clinical staff.
• Participate in administrative and committee responsibilities as assigned.

• Licensed Psychiatrist in the State of Kansas (required).

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of mental health professionals.
• Cultural sensitivity and awareness of diverse populations.
• Ability to safely perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
