During the Fall term, you will be placed as a Manufacturing Engineer Co-op at an Owens Corning manufacturing plant for approximately 16 weeks. You will be mentored by seasoned technical specialists and provided value-added projects throughout this period. Projects will give you hands-on experience with the technical issues that you ll face in the production environment, covering the following topics:

• Safety leadership
• Process and product improvement
• Productivity increases
• Waste elimination
• Total Productive Maintenance

• Industry work experience with challenging and meaningful assignments
• Networking opportunities and exposure to senior leadership
• Formal and informal personal and professional development activities
• Project-specific training
• Housing stipend and relocation assistance provided
• Opportunities to give back to the community

Seeking an enthusiastic candidate who demonstrates the ability to take initiative to drive results, execute goals, and creatively navigate through tasks in a team environment. This includes developing both technical and leadership capabilities in a manufacturing environment to support a long-term impact at Owens Corning.

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant STEM major and/or field
• Previous relevant internships/co-ops in a manufacturing setting
• Demonstrated leadership in professional, service, or social organizations
• Willingness and flexibility to relocate

Participants are based at various manufacturing sites in the US.
