Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution DescriptionOur client, a utilities company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Electrical Engineer to join an innovative team within the power and energy sector in Jackson County, MO. In this role, you will take on responsibilities comparable to a lead project manager for capital and system improvement initiatives. You will leverage your technical expertise to guide project planning and development.

Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Distribution Responsibilities- Act as a project leader in the design and engineering of complex projects
- Provide functional supervision of technical staff and mentor junior engineers
- Monitor progress of assigned projects to ensure timely completion
- Perform extensive research and field investigations
- Evaluate and recommend project alternatives and review system protection
- Develop project drawings, evaluate projects costs, and customer requirements
- Participate in the evaluation of engineering activities
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- Serve as a subject matter expert and offer recommendations
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required
- Power distribution design experience required
- Must have passed the FE exam to be considered for this role
