Job SummaryRandstad Digital is seeking a Support Services Professional for a position based in Kansas City. This person will provide first‑level technical support for computer software and hardware products and services. Responsibilities include responding to and diagnosing problems through discussions with users, recognizing, researching, isolating, and resolving issues, and referring more complex problems to senior‑level technicians. The role involves helping users understand specific software, email, or operating systems and using existing processes and tools (e.g., problem‑management database and help‑desk systems) to support office staff and equipment.

Salary: $25–30 per hour
- Work remotely performing troubleshooting, repairs, and deployment of Windows and Apple products
- Communicate daily with internal customers via phone, Teams, and email
- Accurately record all work and troubleshooting in tickets
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times
- Perform troubleshooting on mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android)
- Diagnose and resolve issues with network printers and multifunctional devices
- Work daily with Active Directory, resetting passwords and assigning users and computers to groups
- Handle troubleshooting for remote VPN connectivity
- Resolve network drive access problems
- Associate degree in a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in an MS Windows environment handling break/fix support calls
- Experience with MS Office (O365) products
- Experience using ticketing systems (Service Now preferred)
- Experience managing and troubleshooting Windows 11 workstations
- Relevant certifications or licenses preferred
- Superior customer‑service skills
- Ability to communicate and translate complex technical topics into clear, easy‑to‑understand concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to clearly document technical processes
- Proficient management and troubleshooting of Microsoft desktop operating systems
- Logical questioning skills to determine problem causation and follow documented processes to resolution
- Working knowledge of Active Directory Users and Computers
- Working knowledge of Apple products (iPhone, iPad, Mac computers)
