Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Postpartum – Kansas

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM;
Patient ratio of 3-4 couplets per RN;
Flexible scheduling available

• 29-bed postpartum unit in a high-volume facility delivering 400-500 babies per month
• Specialized focus on high-risk postpartum patients requiring advanced clinical skills
• EMR system:
  Meditech with CPN monitors
• Close-knit, collaborative team environment with supportive charge nurses and patient care technicians
• Travel nursing opportunity with scheduling flexibility
• Exposure to critical postpartum procedures including hemorrhage management and hypertension assessment

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care postpartum hospital experience required
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
• High-risk postpartum experience preferred
• Level 2 Nursery experience preferred
