American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift Telemetry RN with hospital telemetry experience and a KS or compact RN license for a general med-surg/telemetry unit.

• General med-surg/telemetry unit with 36 beds (29 rooms and 7 semi-private spaces)
• Patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• 12-hour night shifts, 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Occasional floating to acute care or overflow/surge units housing med-surg patients

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting required
• Associate's degree in nursing required;
  Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Must pass an assigned dysrhythmia test prior to consideration
• CBC, drug screen, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance

• Provide telemetry-level nursing care in a general med-surg/telemetry unit
• Attend KU New Employee Orientation (NEO) on the Monday and Tuesday of the starting week
• Attend KU DON training on Wednesday and Thursday of the starting week
• Attend virtual EPIC training on Friday of the starting week
• Required to work two major holidays, choosing from Thanksgiving Eve/Day, Christmas Eve/Day, or New Year's Eve/Day
• Facility is nicotine-free
• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
