American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a weekend night shift position requiring KS or compact RN license and at least one year of telemetry hospital experience.

• General med-surg/telemetry unit with 36 beds (29 rooms and 7 semi-private spaces)
• Patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• 12-hour weekend night shifts, Friday-Sunday 19:00-07:30
• Every weekend required on a set schedule
• No on-call requirements
• May occasionally float to acute care or overflow/surge units housing med-surg patients

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Associate's degree in nursing required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Telemetry RN in a hospital setting required
• Must be proficient in reading telemetry strips and cardiac drips
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to consideration
• CBC, drug screen, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance

• Provide telemetry nursing care within a general med-surg/tele unit setting
• Facility is nicotine free
• Required to work two major holidays, selecting from Thanksgiving Eve/Day, Christmas Eve/Day, or New Year's Eve/Day groupings
• Orientation includes KU NEO on the Monday and Tuesday of the starting week, KU DON training Wednesday and Thursday, and virtual EPIC training on Friday
• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
