American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for an evening shift contract requiring Level 1 trauma and strong scrub experience.

• Operating Room setting within the Bell OR Unit of a hospital
• Evening shift, 4x10s, 10:30am-9:00pm, Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday
• No weekend requirement, except for on-call duties
• Floating required to all OR specialties
• On-call required, up to 6 shifts per 13-week contract
• Holiday coverage required if a holiday falls on a scheduled work day

• Active KS or Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Strong scrub experience required
• Experience with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and ex lap cases required
• New graduates will not be considered

• Perform circulating and scrubbing duties across a variety of surgical specialties including ortho, general, trauma, gyn, urology, and plastics
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Orientation includes new employee orientation, department of nursing orientation, and EPIC training over the first week
• Facility is smoke-free
• Local and travel candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Up to 2 facility-initiated cancellations per month allowed with minimum 2-hour notice
