Your client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to oversee and enhance their quality management system in line with AS9100 standards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in quality assurance within the aerospace & defense sector and possess strong leadership abilities to guide our quality team towards achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's quality management system to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality objectives and targets.
  • Analyze quality performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to quality assurance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product and process integrity.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to resolve quality issues.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies on quality-related matters.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards and quality management systems.
  • Proven experience with quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques (PPAP, APQP, etc).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
