Server Assistant

• Complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items and daily specials.
• Understand and meet sequence of service requirements for the Back Waiter/Food Specialist position as well as all requirements for the rest of the serving team.
• Provide initial greeting to guests alongside the front waiter.
• Greet guests if the front server is occupied.
• Offer water service and maintain beverages throughout the meal.
• Deliver bread service to the table and demonstrate outstanding service skills.
• Memorize scripted presentation for bread service.
• Know all menu items and cooking methods, and answer guest questions accurately.
• Remove dirty ware and replace with clean ware.
• Prepare the table for delivery of the next course.
• Maintain a clean table throughout the meal, removing crumbs as needed.
• Provide coffee service to the table as required.
• Thank guests upon departure per scripted requirements.
• Clear and reset tables and maintain floor cleanliness throughout the assigned station.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
