applicants must have experience cooking in a long term care facility or related healthcare facility.

this position requires a pre-employment drug test as well as a 2-step tb test. Both tests are provided by parkway.

this dietary position earns a competitive salary of $16/hour. as a cook, you play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to provide quality meals for our residents! You prepare meals for our residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

• required: must have experience cooking in a long term care facility.
• must have experience with preparing meals for mechanically altered diets.
• must have desire to work with the geriatric population (65+ years old)
• must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• must be at least 18 years of age
• solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• ability to read, write and speak english sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members

this full-time cook position works evenings 2pm-8pm from wednesday-sunday (off monday and tuesday).
