2nd and 3rd shifts available; paid overtime at 1.5× hourly rate.
Work is performed in a repair/maintenance shop in Kansas City, Kansas.
Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
- Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage and repair times.
- Assist senior mechanics in project work.
- Review or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA standards.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Over 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully complete and pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical.

- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing.

- Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes, heat, and humidity, often.
- Operations in both indoor garage/shop and outdoor conditions with inclement weather.
