We are seeking a skilled installer with hands‑on experience in cable installation for new construction and remodel projects. The ideal candidate will read floor plans and install cable and devices according to detailed drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Install low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, fiber, plenum/riser cable, etc.) in commercial environments.
- Interpret and follow floor plans, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Install and terminate devices such as data jacks, wall plates, patch panels, and related hardware.
- Ensure clean, organized, and code‑compliant installations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades on site.
- Troubleshoot and test installed systems for functionality.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and floor plans.
- Proven experience in low voltage cable installation.
- Familiarity with tools and techniques used in structured cabling (multimeter, lifts/ladders, scaffolding, steel and fiberglass fish tape, push rods).
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Class C driver’s license.
- Experience with fire alarm, access control, security systems, and AV installations.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
- Industry certifications (BICSI, NICET, etc.).
