State Tractor is looking for

An Experienced Heavy Equipment Field Technician / Mechanic who is self-motivated, reliable and can represent State Tractor off-site and on-site professionally. Experience with in the heavy equipment industry and those who can work flexible schedules for service calls.

Responsibilities:

• · Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair heavy and light equipment and vehicles.
• · Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts
• · Perform required DOT inspections to ensure service truck is in proper, safe working order
• · Tags out of service issues and informs Supervisor.
• · Professional etiquette and Team player attitude
• · Travel is required to assist customers.
• · Ability to complete service calls efficiently and on time.

Required:

• · Mechanical Experience in the heavy equipment industry.
• · Background clearance to travel to Railroads.
• · Stable work history.
• · Valid DL and ability to obtain Medical Card.
• · Team player attitude.
• · Ability to pass a drug screening and lift test.
