Asa Driver Managerinour Terminal Operation steam ,youwillplayacriticalroleinensuringthesafety,compliance,andefficiencyofourlinehauldrivers.

Youwilloverseevariousaspectsofdrivermanagement,includingsafetyadvocacy,communication,onboarding,certifications,equipment inspections,time&attendance,tractorassignments,payroll,employeeconduct,administration,ridingwith

RoadDrivers,linehaulplanexecution,Road Driver Job Selection ,anddriverengagement.

Shift: 3:00pm - 1:00am, Monday-Friday

Salary Range: Up to $90,000 + bonus

• Road Driver Safety Advocate : Promoteasafeworkenvironmentthrougheffectivecommunication,training,safety meetings,andawarenessprograms.
• Conduct Hoursof Service :review
  
  Road Driver Hoursof Servicedocumentandensurecompliancewithsafetyguidelinesandgovernmentalregulations .
• Road Driver Recruitment /Retention :
  
  Review Road Driverhiringneedsandassist Human Resourcesintheplacementandretentionof Road Drivers .
• Linehaul Shiftexecutiontoplan :
  
  RegularlyreviewPODdriversetuptoactualexecutiontoplantoidentifygapsforcontinuousimprovementopportunitiesbetween
  
  Linehaulanddockoperations.
• Road Driver On -Boarding :
  
  Welcomeandorientnewdrivers,conduct
  
  RoadDrivertrainingcurriculums,andmanageongoingtrainingprograms.
• Road Driver Certifications :
  
  Ensuredriversobtainandmaintainhazmatendorsements,CDLlicensing,andDOTphysicalrequirements.
• Equipment Inspections: Conductdailypre-tripandpost-tripassessments,auditDVIRcompliance,andensuretractorcleanliness.
• Road Driver Time &Attendance :
  
  ManagePTOrequests,ensureaccuratescheduling,andhandlecall-offs.
• Tractor Assignments :
  
  Maintainequipmentrecords,trackgovernedunits,andensurekeylogaccuracy.
• Employee Conduct: Issue Incident Action Reports (IARs) as directed,reviewIARrequests,andassistwithconductimprovementactions.
• Equipment Administration: Assistwithtrailerregistrations,placards,withafocusonpreparations.
• Ride Along: Conductmonthlyrideswithdriverstogatherfeedbackandunderstandtheirperspective.
• Road Driver Job Selection : Assistwithjobselectionprocesscommunication,answerdriverinquiries,andmaintainunderstandingofcompanyprograms.
• Road Driver Engagement : Hosteventstoboostmoraleandresolveemployeeconcerns.
• Travel: Visitassignedterminalsquarterlytooverseeoperationsandaddressanyissues.

• Previousexperienceintransportationmanagementorrelatedfieldpreferred.
• StrongunderstandingofDOTregulationsandsafetyprotocols.
• Excellentcommunicationandinterpersonalskills.
• Abilitytomultitaskandprioritizeinafast-paced environment.
• ProficiencyinMSOfficesuiteandtransportationmanagementsoftware.
• Willingnesstotravelandworkflexiblehours.

The Driver Managerwillreportdirectlytothe Terminal Managerandcollaboratecloselywithvariousdepartmentsincluding Operations ,Safety,HR,and Linehaul.

Thisroleprimarilyoperatesinanfreightterminalenvironmentbutrequiresfrequenttraveltoterminalsforreviewofyardanddockoperations.

Workhoursareprimarilyfrom
1500to0100,Mondayto Friday,butcanvarybasedonjobdemands.
