Kansas City Metro | Full‑Time | On‑Site with Flexibility

• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage and develop accounting staff; ensure accuracy and accountability.
• Oversee AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and credit cards with specialist support.

• Own the monthly close and deliver timely, accurate financial statements.
• Review property financials and investigate anomalies.
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly.
• Manage year‑end reporting and support audits and tax filings.

• Monitor cash flow across properties and entities.
• Ensure debt payments and lender compliance.
• Record and invoice management fees.
• Communicate results with external asset managers as needed.

• Support annual budgets and forecasts.
• Improve reporting accuracy, timelines, and system efficiency.
• Help standardize and scale accounting processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Real estate, construction, or property accounting experience preferred.
• Strong property‑level reporting, budgeting, and cash flow knowledge.
• Experience with Yardi, MRI, Entrata, Real Page, or similar systems.
• Proven people leadership and month‑end close ownership.
• Solid GAAP foundation; CAMs, Cap Ex, and cost allocations a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Clear, professional communication with lenders, auditors, and partners.
