Part-time Assistant Accountant

Part-time Assistant Accountant needed immediately in Western Sydney! Your new company is a well‑known organisation in Western Sydney looking to employ an Assistant Accountant on a part-time basis. You can either work 5 hours/day or 3 full days.

• Collections and chasing debtors.
• Chasing customers for payments, liaison with Project Managers.
• Keep Track of Accounts and follow up with customers.
• Keep record of customer communication and other financial information.
• Help resolve any disputes with invoices.
• Issuing legal action.
• Entering Time Sheets, Performing Job Costing, Reconciling, and Payroll journals.
• Weekly Supplier Payments.
• Processing payroll.
• Managing employee records.
• Collaborating with other teams.
• Onboarding new employees.
• Welcoming new employees, ensuring they know their rights and responsibilities, and setting them up in accounting software.
• Handling payment issues.
• HR Issues.

Similar Accounts experience is essential. Practical Payroll experience is a must. The ability to commit to part-time work is essential.
