A nationally recognized architecture and design firm based in Kansas City is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Coordinator with AP/AR experience to support its creative and collaborative team. The studio is known for its thoughtful design approach, commitment to excellence, and engaging work culture.
Position OverviewThe Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the studio’s daily activities. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage administrative, financial, and operational tasks with professionalism and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee general office operations, including supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination
- Manage scheduling, meeting logistics, and internal communications
- Maintain organized systems for documentation, records, and office procedures
- Support HR functions such as onboarding, benefits coordination, and time tracking
- Assist with financial tasks including invoicing, expense reporting, and budget tracking
- Serve as a liaison between staff, leadership, and external partners
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Foster a positive and professional office culture
- Previous experience in office management or administrative support
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quick Books, and office management software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in architecture, design, or creative industries
- Familiarity with project management tools and CRM systems
- Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge

Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
