We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician/Instructor to join our team. This role involves providing expert technical guidance, training, and mentorship to apprentices, ensuring the highest standards of technical proficiency and work preformance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical fields, combined with strong communication skills, to effectively supervise the work of our apprentices sessions and support their professional development.
This position offers an opportunity to influence the next generation of master technicians through hands‑on instruction and expert knowledge sharing.
- Deliver comprehensive technical instruction and training to apprentices, ensuring clarity and engagement
- Answer questions on instructional materials, manuals, and curricula aligned with industry standards
- Provide mentorship and support to apprentices, fostering a positive learning environment
- Conduct assessments to evaluate apprentice progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry repair processes and technology advancements
- Collaborate with other staff to enhance program quality and shop performance
- Support the planning and execution of the apprenticeship program
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all instructional activities
- Proven expertise as a Master Technician with extensive hands‑on experience in relevant technical fields
- Prior experience in teaching or mentoring roles is preferred but not mandatory; strong communication skills are essential
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible learning modules for diverse audiences
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a passion for the automotive industry and shop performance
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
