ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES- Track, normalize, and maintain data for KPIs related to productivity, inventory, and client performance.
- Prepare weekly Month-to-Date forecasts and estimate month-end revenue.
- Manage and process invoicing activities accurately and on time.
- Standardize cash/collection goal methodologies across business units.
- Create and maintain client report cards to track performance metrics.
- Design and update dashboards for daily data refresh, integrating data from SIS systems.
- Assist with special projects such as aging analysis by payer/bucket, SLA tracking, and backlog prioritization.
- Maintain current knowledge of third-party billing, reimbursement schedules, coding, payer contracts, and billing rules.
- Develop, deliver, and communicate concise, thorough organizational updates to management.
- Work closely with RCM/Accounting/Finance Teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Create end‑user documentation and deliver training.
- Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools to increase productivity.
- Analyze large data sets to uncover key insights for internal and external customers.
- Ensure projects remain on track and develop contingency plans when risks arise.
- Promote teamwork and maintain high satisfaction among project team members.
- Continuously develop innovative solutions for complex revenue cycle problems.
- Management may reassign duties as needed.
- BA/BS Degree in Health Administration, MIS, Accounting, Finance, Business, Statistics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), Managed Care Contracting, and/or Revenue Cycle is a plus.
- 3–5 years in MIS or similar role.
- Highly skilled with business software applications, including Microsoft Office and PDF software.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, Pivot Tables, etc.), SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- High proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
- Experience creating dashboards and client performance reports.
- Knowledge of SIS Complete or other ASC software is a plus.
- Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management processes and AR Recovery workflows.
- Ability to manage large datasets and ensure data accuracy.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Critical thinker with deep knowledge of all revenue cycle operations.
- Strong relational skills with external and internal stakeholders.
- Work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Effective interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
