The Superintendent will manage all residential flatwork concrete production, ensuring quality work is delivered safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include total supervision of all concrete operations on site to ensure that workers implement what is designed, the project is completed on time, and safety and company standards are met.

• Coordination with Field managers for all concrete schedules/operations for our residential division
• Daily communications/coordination with the Project Management staff to ensure successful project communication and execution
• Being on site to supervise and oversee all concrete construction processes
• Ensuring that the budget is followed in terms of manpower production and material expenditures
• Understanding basic concrete principles such as concrete mix designs, admixtures, curing and cold and hot weather procedures for concrete placing and finishing
• Organizing and scheduling the field labor and ensuring that they are performing as required
• Coordinating with other subcontractors and ensuring proper planning and work harmony
• Ensuring that quality is preserved in the concrete construction process and that the budget is maintained
• Tracking and reporting project progress on a daily and weekly basis
• Tracking and accurately capturing/reporting time for the field manpower they oversee
• Continuously monitoring productivity and percentage complete, identifying problems and potential delays, and providing solutions to overcome delays or challenges
