At Hinkle Outdoor Living, we create stunning, personalized outdoor living spaces engineered for entertaining. We’re looking for an Outdoor Living Designer who can turn client goals, site conditions, and design standards into clear, buildable concepts that support an exceptional customer experience from first vision to final handoff.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong design ability with field accuracy, clear communication, and a real respect for how projects get built.

• Meet with clients and help translate their goals into outdoor living concepts
• Capture accurate field measurements and site conditions
• Build clean, compelling, buildable designs
• Support design reviews, revisions, and design presentations
• Coordinate closely with the Outdoor Living Guide and internal team
• Produce design packages that support pricing, handoff, permitting, and production

• Designs reflect what the client actually wants
• Measurements are accurate and trusted
• Revisions are handled quickly and clearly
• Design packages help the team move into pricing and production without confusion
• Communication stays clean, with no surprises for the client or team

• Experience in outdoor living, landscape design, hardscape, poolscape, or similar residential design
• Strong eye for layout, function, and aesthetics
• Strong field measurement and detail accuracy
• Ability to design spaces that are both beautiful and buildable
• Confidence working with clients and internal teams
• Experience with design software and digital tools
• Valid driver’s license

We are building high-end outdoor spaces for clients who want more than a contractor. They want a partner who listens well, designs intentionally, and executes with precision. If you want to be part of a team that values craftsmanship, systems, and customer experience, we’d love to hear from you.

If you’re excited about designing luxury outdoor spaces and helping clients bring their vision to life
