Project Manager, Construction Manager​/ Foreman, Procurement ​/ Purchasing

Mid America Precast is an employee-owned manufacturer of precast concrete products serving Missouri and surrounding states. Our products support the construction of schools, parking structures, hospitals, stadiums, and other major commercial and infrastructure projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to join our employee-owned team. This position will oversee projects from planning through completion while developing strong relationships with current and prospective clients. The Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining project schedules and budgets while coordinating with customers, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and internal teams.

• Read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, engineers, architects, contractors, and other project partners.
• Procure materials and production-related items to support project schedules.
• Monitor project progress to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are maintained.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while effectively prioritizing competing deadlines.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, coworkers, management, contractors, architects, and engineers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Use Microsoft Excel and other project-management tools to track project information and progress.
• Identify potential project issues and work proactively to develop solutions.

• Associate degree in construction management, construction technology, or a related field preferred.
• Previous construction or project-management experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with customers, coworkers, contractors, architects, engineers, and management.
