Project Manager - Commercial Landscape

Our client is one of the most established and fastest-growing landscape companies in the St. Louis region. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to own commercial landscape and site construction projects from contract award through closeout. You will work hand-in-hand with field superintendents to manage the business side of jobs, including scope, schedule, subcontractors, materials, and owner relationships.

• Review estimates and proposals from pre-construction; verify hours, quantities, and scope.
• Build project schedules and coordinate start dates with superintendents.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring correct sequencing and performance standards.
• Order and manage materials to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, general contractors, and landscape architects.
• Identify unforeseen conditions, prepare change-order proposals, and negotiate with owners.
• Manage monthly progress billing and track labor hours and job costs against budgets.

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial landscape construction, site work, or hardscape.
• Proven track record managing multiple commercial projects in the $200,000 - $1.5M+ range.
• Strong command of scope management, change orders, subcontractor coordination, and progress billing.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape, grading, civil, and site plans.
• Established subcontractor and supplier relationships in the St. Louis market.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Preferred:
  Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or Construction Management; experience with OSHA 30, estimating software, and scheduling tools.

• Base salary of $80,000 - $110,000 plus team and individual performance bonuses.
