Summary
Under the direction of the Communications Department Supervisor, demonstrates operational effectiveness regarding daily processes required to support the Communications office, Mailroom, and overall Hospital functions to include complete and accurate handling of all emergency situations. Demonstrates knowledge of all Hospital policies and procedures.
ExperienceExperience with high volume attendant console systems preferred. Experience with high-speed mail equipment preferred.
Special SkillsAbility to handle multiple tasks with exceptional accuracy in an emergency situation. Excellent communication skills required. Available to work within 24/7 hospital setting.
OtherMay be cross‑trained to work in both mailroom and Communications. One of which requires extensive walking and excellent memorization skills. The other is the ability to sit for extended periods of time responding quickly to urgent needs while monitoring multiple programs.
EducationPreferred:
High School or equivalent.
