We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Architect to join our growing architecture studio in Kansas City. This role is central to delivering thoughtful, innovative, and well-executed projects through a collaborative, design-driven process.

As a Project Architect
, you will bring strong technical expertise, design insight, and leadership to projects at every stage—from concept through construction. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, balancing creativity with technical precision, and helping to deliver exceptional work that reflects our studio’s commitment to design excellence.
- Lead and produce detailed technical drawings and construction documents
- Manage and coordinate complete drawing sets and project deliverables
- Provide and receive design direction to ensure cohesive project execution
- Lead coordination with consultants, clients, and project stakeholders
- Own and manage BIM models with precision and clarity
- Present ideas and progress at client and internal meetings
- Oversee construction administration, including RFIs and submittals
- Develop compelling design presentations and visual communication materials
- Coordinate project specifications and ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Mentor and manage design staff while fostering a collaborative team culture
- Stay current with emerging design tools, materials, and technologies
- Licensed Architect with 10+ years of professional experience
- Deep knowledge of architectural principles, practices, and project delivery
- Proficient in Revit, Sketch Up, and visualization software
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with efficiency and focus
- Skilled in both design thinking and technical detailing
- Working knowledge of building codes and accessibility requirements
- Experience in sustainable design and LEED certification (preferred)
- Exposure to computational/parametric design and fabrication (a plus)
