Project Architect

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Architect to join our growing architecture studio in Kansas City. This role is central to delivering thoughtful, innovative, and well-executed projects through a collaborative, design-driven process.

As a Project Architect
, you will bring strong technical expertise, design insight, and leadership to projects at every stage—from concept through construction. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, balancing creativity with technical precision, and helping to deliver exceptional work that reflects our studio’s commitment to design excellence.

• Lead and produce detailed technical drawings and construction documents
• Manage and coordinate complete drawing sets and project deliverables
• Provide and receive design direction to ensure cohesive project execution
• Lead coordination with consultants, clients, and project stakeholders
• Own and manage BIM models with precision and clarity
• Present ideas and progress at client and internal meetings
• Oversee construction administration, including RFIs and submittals
• Develop compelling design presentations and visual communication materials
• Coordinate project specifications and ensure compliance with codes and standards
• Mentor and manage design staff while fostering a collaborative team culture
• Stay current with emerging design tools, materials, and technologies

• Licensed Architect with 10+ years of professional experience
• Deep knowledge of architectural principles, practices, and project delivery
• Proficient in Revit, Sketch Up, and visualization software
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with efficiency and focus
• Skilled in both design thinking and technical detailing
• Working knowledge of building codes and accessibility requirements
• Experience in sustainable design and LEED certification (preferred)
• Exposure to computational/parametric design and fabrication (a plus)
