Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and creative Computer Science long‑term substitute in our Upper School. The Upper School Science Department offers a comprehensive and exciting range of Computer Science courses, including Introduction to Python, Engineering through Robotics, AP (Java) Computer Science A, 3D Design, and opportunities to design new courses.

- Teach a variety of computer science courses from Introductory to AP. Programming languages include Python and Java.
- Lead lessons and projects that facilitate students' acquisition of primary, intermediate and advanced programming skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required:
Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related field preferred. - Previous experience teaching computer science in an educational environment strongly preferred. AP experience is also strongly preferred.
- Experience working with and supporting students of various ages/grades.
- Commitment to equitable and inclusive practices.
- Proficient in Maker Space equipment and software.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite and AutoCAD software.
- Proficient in Python and Java programming.
Begins March 30, 2026 through the end of the school year on May 21, 2026. Monday through Friday, 7:50 a.m. – 3:50 p.m.
Compensation$200 per day.
